Politics:
Singapore comes under the top-down countries where everything is under high observation and disciplines. Regulations are applied strictly in terms of education, contractions, building by-laws foreign policies and crime punishments. Especially when it comes to infrastructure where their impacts could lead to some unwanted results, policies prevent them. These kind of rules have made Singapore the most sustainable city. And with the goal of making it net-zero energy city, lot of the policies have been change and effective decisions have been made the make it possible. Also, in order to manage the population density, Singapore takes important decisions with regards to immigrants and non-resident citizens. Encouraging people to take part into sustainable ways of living is being considered by the administration of the country.
